for everyone
Being my normal self, i've once again procrastinated to post my entries thus leaving me with many many posts to catch up with. I shall try my best...

As usual, Jas being Jas (it's a compliment by the way) suggested that we should head up to Vegas to do what we both love to do.... BUFFET!!!! (and at the same time, ZW felt that it was good idea to take me on a spending spree as my birthday present.... yipee!!)

Since there was an addition to the Lee family, ZW felt it would be good to travel up in comfort.. ie rental car!Picture was taken at the parking lot of our estate while waiting for the Lees to arrive (P.S It looked really bright here but it was actually 6am when this pic was taken... )

And this was our one and only pic of the car.. It was a gruelling 6 hours drive to Sin City..

The car in front's the Lees... We were behind them. MM's an expert on US roads... we followed behind them... The hotel's in the background's Mandalay Bay.. We didn't stay there though... Took this pic coz there's a road named for Frank Sinatra.. whom got me listening to jazz in the first place...

Had a really bad experience with one of the hotels that we first checked into. And being me, i kicked up a big fuss about being tired and how inefficient the hotel system was (zw and i had to wait for 3 hours for the room and then were told to wait again... no way!).. so they had no choice... apologised and compensated us with a suite! (they told us that one night's stay would cost US$1000.. then again, it's their fault... i don't care.. i deserve it) so......

The suite's 2 storeys... There's a jacuzzi on a first level... not to mention, equipped with lots of towels... zw and i headed to the jacuzzi even though it was already 10pm by the time we got into our suite.. On the opposite side of the jacuzzi's the dining room... and then beside the bar, there's the living room with a huge sofa set...

This is our bedroom on the second floor... With the bed having the most pillows and throw cushions ever!

Oh ya... then there's the toilet with an awesome view....

We were on the highest level... 21st (i think)... and it overlooks the Strip... Amazing esp. at night...

Anyway, the Lees came over in the morning before checkout to hang around our (for the day) pad

Alexis' juice time! Clarice was hiding at the back of the sofa coz she didn't want to take any pics then.. (She's the pink little thing sticking out behind the sofa) Btw, The story of the pink paper bag would be coming up soon...

Taken from the second level of our suite... Jas and Clarice was enticing me to join them at the bar with 2 bottles of water (which i gave in coz i was severely dehydrating from the Vegas heat)

Alexis love the space of the suite.. She was running around and enjoying herself... Had to take a pic of my god-daughter being cute and all... After all, she's adorable...

Every girl loves a Juicy... Even if it's their paper bag... The girls love it too... Oh ya, Jas and i realise that even Alexis knows how to appreciate a Juicy too... We were out shopping one day and Alexis pointed out to a Juicy bag and carried around the shop refusing to let go of it... ;) that's my girl... anyway, it's amazing how Juicy does their marketing... even their paper bag has style and couture.... It was just one of the many presents zw got me for my present.. Got a wallet from Juicy while shopping at Caeser's Palace before checking in to the suite.. Thank you sweetie!!
Excuse the bad photography.. It was pretty late at night.. combine the tiredness and the excitement of being in a suite and having just obtained the first of my presents equal BAD lighting photography... wahaha.... still... i love how lovely their packaging is....

My lovely wallet.... It's not even available online yet... just their retail stores... i'm crossing my fingers that it'll never make it online (coz when zw sees the price drop of it... he'll probably throw a fit)

ZW attempting to go for a swim into the jacuzzi.. He was the happiest during our stay there coz of the jacuzzi we had on the first floor and the second floor...

Pic of our jacuzzi... Being considerate, i used one of their many towels to dry ourselves before coming out from the jacuzzi so it doesn't wet the whole place.. oh ya, the two little ones came up early that morning to play in the jacuzzi... zw was equally excited coz it meant that it could go into the jacuzzi again...

And we couldn't leave without having a pic of us in the tub.. though it was wet... ;)

During our Vegas trip, we managed to have our drinking session outside of ST (the place where the Lees reside) coz we had one additional person this time...

Auntie Lee.... She's MM's mother... So during our second night (we were staying in Planet Hollywood Hotel & Resort then) when the kids fell asleep, we went to the clubs they had on the casino floor but it was crowded so we ended up at Fat Tuesday's in Miracle Mile which is this shopping center inside Planet Hollywood itself...

ZW wasn't in the pic coz he was taking the pic...poor thing... but never mind.. here's a pic of him falling asleep after the big tumbler of alcohol... i can't remember how big the tumbler was but it was huge and never ending... thus leaving zw pretty drunk (though i drank more than him... hmph)

Had a great time that night though.. Had loads to laugh and drink... MM and i drank the most that night.. though tired, we still managed to pull slots before heading up to bed... but alas, we didn't win... haha...

It's a pity that we didn't manage to take much pics during the trip but we were so overwhelmed by the things that we were going to do, the food that we were going to eat.. so... too bad for us... and it's actually the last trip that we'll be going with the Lees since they'll be returning to Singapore end of this year... =( so what we're left of is just the memories of our trip...

But back to happier stuff, here's my shopping versus zw's

My shopping items                        His shopping items
Juicy Couture wallet                      Skechers shoes
Ray-Ban sunglasses                     Oakley sunglasses (his 3rd pair)
Guess dress                                 Slinky
Fossil watch                                 Fossil wallet
Calvin Klein flats
Tommy Hilfigier shorts+shirts
Aeropostale shorts
Swaroski ring and necklace

More updating sooooooooooon..........

love loads!!

The similarities between them

1) They both love chicken AND they use only one hand to eat it
2) Both used the same song to describe their love (Mind you, the song wasn't a common one. It was japanese)
3) They are both night people.. Stay awake in the night and sleep through the day
4) Both knew about my past. The one that i was not very proud of (and very few people knew about)
5) At different times, they rescued me out from a difficult and tough situation though one of them got into an car accident because of that

Total coincidence...

Difference:
One had me, the other has me

Still happily and blissfully married

=)

i admit... zw used the word house goddess at first till i corrected him... though credit must be given to him for being able to think of using the word domestic goddess in the first place.. :)

being here in the US means i've to be domesticated (if there's ever such a word..) for myself and my husband.. but because i wasn't one in singapore, having to be one here requires lots of learning and mistakes...

one of it being...

i threw our stuffed toy into the dryer after putting it in the washing machine to wash... mother in law (MIL from hereforth) normally hangs it out to dry...

BUT smart alec (ie me) here threw it in the dryer (without telling the Mr)...

he came back, saw the stuff toy and was shocked... coz now, the stuff toy looks like a sheep dog... very fluffy.. he almost fainted...

weeeheeeheeeheee....

oh well, just another day in the life of being his domestic goddess... i'm learning.....

I know it's wrong to give in to my wants but i can't help it.. especially since i'd spent less than what zw gave me for shopping during our LA trip (it's a generous four figure amount more than US$1000 *beams)

1) Disney Photobook - US$69.95 (excluding shipping)
it's the cutest thing. you get to do an album with the photos taken at Disneyland amd design it with the Disney templates provided. the only hassle is organising the photos and the pages yourself. completed the project yesterday.am anxiously waiting for the album to arrive next week. *shrieks

2) David Cook's performance of Mariah Carey's Always Be My Baby from iTunes - US$0.99
He was awesome. Loved how he changed the arrangement of the song, how he made it his song and how he performed it. Loved his performance of it. Anyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant.

3) Jon McLaughlin - So Close (Soundtrack of Enchanted) from iTunes - US$0.99
i love the movie.. esp love this song when it was played during the scene when Patrick Dempsey sang this song while dancing with Rachel McAdams. It was so sweet! coz earlier in the scene, he said he doesn't sing but then later when he realise that he's in love with her, the way to show it was to sing while dancing with her... *faints... i'm still a sucker for love and romance...

That's it! not as many as people who'll overestimate my ability to spend money =P THOUGH i am comtemplating to get the album by Jon McLaughlin... ;P

Till then
Continue loving!!

Being back in Singapore didn't turn out as planned.

Less than three days in Singapore, i was flown to Italy for 10 days... The place's amazing.. Didn't get to sightsee much though... it was mainly business.. Hard to believe but true...

Lynn and i were sent to the Italy wine fair and visit the vineyards around Italy... Hectic time but we gained so much more knowledge and exposure...

It's taking Lynn forever to post the photo of Mr Handsome so i shall do the honours and reveal the man that made my sister's heart melt (and causing her to almost stay behind in Italy)

Naturally, it's the tall guy in the pic...
Italians are really friendly, generous and hospitable. We had a great time there... Then of course there's the Italian cuisine... Photos would be put in the album soon...

After 10 days, it was back to Singapore for 2 weeks.. Time then was spent with grandma... Running errands for zw and our US home.. Then there's going back home to find my mother in law and barely squeezing time to meet Des (who remained absolutely calm during my driving), meeting Glyn for lunch in Suntec and trying to find Pst Z who wasn't around in the office and then there's Galen's the sweetest.. With a leg in a cast, he came by one evening for a chilling session... He brought thai beer (imagine that?!) and his signature mac and cheese... Thank you galen!! Oh ya, of course my vices for a dinner the day before flying off... All in all, my purpose for flying back to Singapore has been fulfilled... Spending time with grandma! =)

To Candice and Cherie, we'll meet up again when i'm back early next year.. i'm sooooo sorry

The month of April was literally a month of jetsetting..
3 hours from Tucson International to LA International (LAX)
15 hours from LAX to Hong Kong International (HKG)
4 hours from HKG to Singapore
14 hours from Singapore to Milan International and back
6 hours from Singapore to Narita
9 hours from Narita to LAX
3 hours from LAX to Tucson
Total: 68 hours of flying

and then it was back to the arms of my husband whom i've not seen for one month.

returned back to Tucson on Sat afternoon and then it's off to LA with the Lees on Sunday morning..

We went to Universal Studios, Disneyland (*loud shriek) and Legoland for 9 days..

Our first day at Universal Studios... I HAD to put up this photo coz Jas and i each bought a Michael Kors bag (which i simply adore.... coz it's also lovingly bought by zw) and something that we're both very proud of... :) we just had to take a photo of it before going into Universal Studios...

oh ya, my lovely husband also bought me a few items from Juicy Couture as well.. =) got a bag, a necklace with a locket on it and a dress! woohoo...

anyway, i've got so many pics i've got to post it in the album instead of writing it down here... so click on my albums... i'll try to make it really interesting...

till then

lots of love!

Spring's finally here!!! No more walking around with thick clothing, long track pants, sweaters, getting hit by hail stones, talking with 'smoke' coming out from the mouth.. woohoo!!

But as fast as the arrival of Spring, i can't wait to be back in Singapore! A full month back to my home country and taking the time to eat the food that i've been deprived of!

Anyway, the trip back to Singapore is not to do that (ok, maybe partly) but most of it, is to see grandmummy! and it's her birthday!

I can't wait to see her and the little ones! Communicating over the webcam made me realise that i've missed part of their growing up.

Alarice looks so big now and she's so pretty... and she can say hi jean jie jie.. i like! =)

And then there's Alaric, who looks so handsome with his new hair cut and Jacob, being his cheeky adorable self.. making faces over the webcam =)

Oh ya, Shaunny too... who casually commented that i should come back with US$100 worth of products for him during one of our conversations... ;P

It's a full month of sunny Singapore (ok, lesser than that coz of other reasons) and soaking in the loss time with the family and the love!!!

So just in case i can't get to meet all of you, i'm sorry! but i promise i'll make it up.. for those that i've already made plans with (Pf with Cherie and Candice, Glyn with Des, Galen(!!), my Ah Seng and Vices).. i can't wait!!

Then of course, there's my baby sister!!! i wanna see tenten!! ;)

2 more days before flying off and 18 days of loneliness for ZW.. (Poor darling.. i'll miss you while eating stingray) and being away from Jas and her two lovely littles (i'll bring back goodies!! and then we'll be heading down to LA!! yippee!!!)

Love loads!!

i figured it would be better to upload the photos into the album rather than write an entry about it.. it's less messy that way.. and i can still write what i want in the photos so click on them!

anyway, we had an awesome time in Las Vegas with the Lees.. the drive to Las Vegas took us 8 hours.. MM's the champion.. he clocked the most in driving.. Thank you MM!!! for without you, we can never make it up to LV with all our driving ;)

i got my driving license on wed! have been previously on an Instructor's Permit.. which means that i could only drive with a person holding a driving license beside me..

much to the delight (and at the same time dismay) of my husband, i am now planning to hog the car for my personal usage.. which leaves him having to car pool with his colleagues..

talking about car pooling, i've this frustrations towards this colleague (which shall be hereforth be known as EMD) who is the ultimate cheapskate any person could have the 'privilege' to be associated with..

since we've been here, zw has on many occasions drove him to and from work.. here's the deal, EMD has a car.. a better car.. he drives a Honda Civic.. but he seldom drives it, preferring to take advantage of people around him thus saving him countless amount of money on gas (it's a 45 minute drive from home to work place.. takes up maybe quarter tank i guess) AND THEN BEING ABLE TO SAVE HIS MILEAGE TO DRIVE TO NEW YORK!!! (it's a long distance from here to new york.. 4 day drive) and also to only use his car during the weekend so that he could go around town with his wife!! the audacity of the man.. not to mention, the less mileage you drive, the more you're able to get from selling your car.. have you ever met such a guy?! he has the money to get a good car, why doesn't he have the money to pay for his own gas? i mean, if he doesn't like driving, at least offer to pay for gas since you've been taking our car (meaning WE pay for gas to get your ass to work) but does he do that? NO! he doesn't..

he has a reputation here for doing such things.. and many people who have been here long enough knows to keep away from him, reject him or maybe vanish away when he mentions the word carpool.. if only zw was able to reject him.... but he doesn't!!! he's too nice! he doesn't' know how to find it in himself to say no to this EMD.. =(

*inhales hard...

putting the sicking man behind us, below's a few pics of our home!! =)

Our music corner.. (set up by me)

We like to think ourselves as professionals but we're not... haha.. zw looks like one though.. with the gadgets he have.. i seriously do not know how to operate them.. we have not played together so i don't know if we make good music ;)

this corner was previously our cozy chilling corner after the christmas tree came down but after spending more time on the sofa instead, we decided to take that corner away.. (you can still see the cushion peeking out from the corner of the picture)

we have the hi fi set there so that the music could maybe drown out our not so professional playing.. ;)

this is the wall of our living room.. i'm pretty much home sick so i've got photos of my wonderful family up on the wall to make me more homesick.. haha... nah... i do it coz i think it makes my home here more homely.. i've got other pictures too but i've not put them up yet.. my goal's to fill up the wall during my stay here to make it my family/friends wall!

the reflective thing's our car plate that says LUVJEAN =)

the stockings' on the left's for us to put love letters or presents in.. just to make our marriage a little more fun... =) it's like a little mailbox for the both of us... zw's work's so hectic here, i would be asleep by the time he gets back so i leave notes for him to let him know how my day went.. the stockings have been utilised since christmas.. by the way, zw's stockings' D coz when we were dating, i used to call him D.. i think that calling him Dear or Darling's too common so thus, the general D.. (which someone went to call her bf that after hearing me call him.. sheesh.... no originality) and that the store ran out of Z too! haha... below's where our computer is.. It's a bulky old ancient PC which zw refuse to discard coz he built it himself.. but he did promise to get a lappie for me since it's way cheaper to get it here than in sg.. even the Sony VAIO and Mac Air... i'm eyeing the pink VAIO..

our little entertainment area..

The colorful controls are for this game called 'Buzz Juniors! The Jungle Game'. Not sure whether they have this game in Singapore but it's a game worth getting esp during gatherings at home but it's only for a maximum of 4 players.. it's like the home version of the arcade game Bishi Bashi (if that's how it's spelled) the game works for PS2. oh, this is the same game that caused mummy to be drunk on wine when she came over with Lynn recently.. it's a game for both young and old.. (though the young might have abit of advantage over the old and drunk.. wahaha..)

Then there's the Wii that zw got for me (we had help from the lovely Lee family.. another story for another time) which i lovingly decorated to prevent it from getting dust on its white glossy body.. i was almost tempted to get the pink one but i decided to be nice to zw..

the DVD player has helped me get through the hours here.. it's small but useful to me..

Brief things about the picture (i'm getting lazy to write in full sentences):
- learning from a friend, i recycle our tissue box to house the wii remotes and nunchucks. it's a really good way to save the earth. i'm too lazy to decorate the tissue box so i just leave it as it is but if you don't like the design of the tissue box, you could always decorate it.. =) i'll be more than happy to share on how it's done if you don't know how...

- the colorful box in the shelf that has the gold color's this DVD that i bought called 300 cartoon classics which have cartoons i used to watch when i was much younger...Betty Boop, Felix the cat, Casper the friendly ghost, Little Lulu, Popeye, Mighty Mouse, Woody Woodpecker etc. brings back memories as a kid... =)

- Will & Grace DVDs which i got hooked on here.. i'm aiming to collecting the entire series of the show..

- zw's concert dvds of Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Eric Clapton, G3... all rock bands.. i try to avoid watching with him coz it's really noisy and i get goosebumps over hearing them twanging the electric guitar.. Steve Vai plays the electric guitar with his tongue (?!)

- our PS2 and Wii games.. it's really much cheaper here than in singapore.. we bought Guitar Hero 1, 2 and 3 here and 2 of the guitars so that we can play together.. let's just say zw's really good at this.. he finished playing the entire Guitar Hero 3 in 3 days.. i can't.. i'm contented playing 2 players with him so that he can help me get through the stage..

Pardon the table.. it's really messy.. i've got my watch, my phones, tv remote control, sales receipts (they have customer survey here that gives you 15% discount when you participate, rebates etc. here)

and the unpacked remote controls is a clear picture that we've just played with the PS2 (Spongebob's Light, Camera Action) and no one's clearing it (yet).. i've got a feeling that i'll be the one who'll be clearing that up ;P.. played this game with Lynn when she was over.. we didn't get to finish playing together though...

Talk about my pesky sister, here's one of her looking really glam and happy in this picture taken at the screening room at our club house:

I miss you little sister!!!!!!!!!

Come back again!! maybe in June? and bring Shaunny along with you too?

Anyway, hope all's good people...

Love!

mummy and lynn came by to Tucson for a visit and it has been the highlight of my trip here... having them in the house that i've set up and having them here has been awesome.. though having them leave at the end of the week has been the saddest for me but it beats not having them here at all

Lynn and mummy were happy coz they did lots of shopping here.. more than they did in LA.. =P

Lynn came with o
ne huge luggage and went back to Singapore taking along one of my luggage with her too.

Mummy being herself cooked dinner during CNY eve.. and i realise i missed her cooking and grandma's cooking alot.. but it was all good.. we had a good time eating, talking, laughing, playing games on the PS2 (loser has to drink wine.. mummy was the 'lucky' one.. she surrendered and settled for eating chips as penalty instead), watching tv..

i miss my baby sister the most coz we did things that we haven't done together in a long time... eat Lay's in front of the tv and laze around.. watching tv till the break of dawn.. wake up when the sun is high up in the sky with no work to worry about.. more shopping!

zw has been the sweetest too.. and i received my early valentine's day present... a Nintendo Wii!! it's so popular here in the US that it's always sold out.. and it's really depressing coz i've got my eye on it for the longest time and finally being able to have it (long story which would be posted again).. he's the best! =) (and for the sweetest couple who helped made it possible.. you're the best too!!)

the CNY holiday was spent playing the Wii which Lynn has excused herself from playing it coz she says we look silly playing it ;p

LONG DUE PHOTOS!!

Our transit at Tokyo Narita Airport after around 6 hours of flight.. We went to get our hands on the sushi! it was authentic and delicious... Zw was a happy person being able to get this close to Japan.. and he was the sweetest coz he gave me the only piece of salmon sashimi sushi... =) and then it was off to our 8 hours of flight to LA International Airport..

In-flight food wasn't all that bad.. it's thanks to the in-flight food that i realise Tiwx is a good chocolate to indulge in (though i'm not a big fan of caramel).. flying long hours wasn't that bad as well with individual tv.. i watched their program through out my flight.. zw slept and only woke up during meal times..

Thanks to the in-flight movie, i was really tired when we finally reached LAX for our transit to the domestic flight.. but still happy...

Our arrival to Tucson International Airport and it was freezing and windy... Our luggage had a broken handle and our box almost gave way.. all thanks to custom and the many transferring of our belongings..

Tucson's a desert with lots of cactus and mountains.. and when it snows in the mountains... it's really a beautiful scenery.. and yes.. i hate the cold (which explains the thick covering of clothes..) zw on the other hand was ok with the cold.. the temp was around 5 degrees!

the first pic taken on the free phone given by the phone company.. got the motorola hot pink v3... looks like some things never change... ;)

will blog more again.. it's time to cook!! yes, i've got a responsibility here: make sure my husband's properly fed and taken care of.. ;) it's probably the least i can do since he's been the sweetest since our time here.. and maybe to also thank him for the valentine's day present..

stay loving people!

happy v day!

am back! (faster than i thought i would be) but since the husband's off to work and with the housework done (so aunty!!!) and finishing the entire season of Will & Grace (the funniest sitcom ever!).. i thought i pop by the business centre to clear my mails (194... of which, 94 are spam) and get my blog entry done up..

anyway, though it doesn't snow here in Tucson, the weather's pretty much cold.. we hit -6 degree celsius last night and it's the most miserable feeling... back in singapore, i would whine about the heat... and when i finally am in a country that has the four season and reaching here in winter, i bitch too... oh well, women... go figure..

there are just too many things to write in here so might as well do it in point form.. all random..

1) i love walmart!

2) the fast food here's so much better than what we have in singapore... my current fave's Wendy's and In-and-out burger.. (lynnzie.... that's where we'll bring you when you come over in feb...)

3) have lost weight during my time here (surprise surprise! even with the fast food... must be the weather)

4) i miss grandma's cooking.. and quarrelling with Lynn.. getting bullied by Lynn and Shaun..

for everyone
i don't know about you but i've been a big fans of bookshops since a little kid.

Back when i was young, i would remember using the little pocket money i had in primary 1 to buy 'rubbish' (as what my parents call it). These rubbish includes erasers shaped like the fast food items from hamburgers, fries, coke etc. , fanciful pencils, stickers,  diaries, notebooks, sweets, staplers (size from the mini ones to the big ones..), staplets (esp. the colorful kind) and so on... I guess my parents knew that it was a phase cos i'm glad that my pocket money was never cut during that time... *phew...

And when there were commercials about toys.... one that i vividly remember was the secret pen that was only visible through the light that lynn and i rushed to buy... i think it was priced at $19 by then...and immediately used it to write my diary entries.

But as i grew, the compulsiveness to buy things at a bookshop changed.. Instead, i find myself browsing the shelves for Archie comics and foreign pop magazines...that was around the age of 14 to 16..  my fav band that time was 911.. person that i hoped to marry was Lee Brennan... but then, it has since been disbanded and all news about them seem to have disappeared as well... these foreign magazines were the greatest!! the freebies were innovative and cute!! i remembered Smash magazine giving out a wrapping paper of many different stars on it... Lynn and i fought over it... she won.. and is still proudly keeping that sheet of paper... anyway, because we didn't know the value of money then, spending $15 on  a  magazine  wasn't much to us then.. now... it probably is a new different issue...

spending at bookshops pretty much stopped after working... coz stationery's provided till now...

have stopped workin since last week with the numerous packing that has to be done and not to mention the shopping for the things that we need in the US..

zw and i finally settled most of our admin, medical and financial arrangements as well as the packing yesterday. because he had to return to work to settle some final clearance at work, he dropped me at the closest shopping mall near his workplace and i found myself heading to the bookshop... (my initial plan was to sit at the Starbucks and read a book while waiting)

what finally hit me at the bookshop was the section that i spent most of my time at.. (almost 1.5 hours) i was at the cookbook section!!!

i looked all around me... middle age women browsing on 'food for pregnant women and confinement', '100 types of nonya desserts', 'indonesian food', '101 ways to cook .... (fish, pork, soup, chicken).. and there i was, at the same section with these people...

*gasps..

it got me thinking that my role in life (at least for the next 2 years) has changed!!! from a independant working woman... i've become a housewife!!! *shrieks..

and the worst thing was, i chose to purchase the cookbook that comes with a complimentary Scotch brush!! *faints.. seriously very aunty... (coz i actually felt proud of the purchase)...

anyway, i can't cook to save my own life... least my husband's...so i hope the cookbooks would seriously help me when i'm in US.. (special hugs to my pimp and whore for responding to my SOS on what worceshire sauce and shaoxing sauce was... oh ya, and the pimp offered to teach me how to boil soups this wed!!)

digressing.... GALEN!!! i want your recipe for your yummylicious macroni and cheese!!

exactly 10 more days to our departure... i'm looking forward to our home there... but not the weather... we got news from the people in US that it's already 8 degrees there and winter has just started...

sat's gonna be spent rollerblading in the morning (zw bought me a pair of pink blades with matching safety gear!!) and Giant in the afternoon with grandma.

steamboat on sunday afternoon at nick's together with the normal bunch (nick and sandy, kel and my bitch, mic and joan plus us) [soo love the steamboat sessions....]

heading down to grandfather's niche on tuesday morning just to say goodbye...

might be meeting glyn and des either monday or tuesday for dinner..

rollerblading with zw's buddies (incl. fiance/gf) on one of the morning..

the vices are meeting on wed for an early xmas celebration before i fly off.. the pimp's cooking a scrumptous 4 course meal for the night... and we'll be wearing our Le Senza's bedroom slippers that we bought in 4 different colors a month back just for this occasion..

meeting the ex colleagues on thurs evening for a belated dinner...

the logistics company's coming by on Fri to help pack our PC and zw's guitar and collect the boxes we have packed to be shipped to our new place in the US!!

sat would be spent visiting grandma in law.. and maybe picking lynn up from the airport (just to ransack her luggage to see the goodies she'll get for me from Vietnam)

and the family's doing a farewell dinner for us on sunday!!!

and then it's off to the airport at 4am to catch our 7am flight to Narita airport where we'll transit to LA before taking a domestic flight to Las Vagas and finally followed by a 6 hour drive to Tucson..

would probably only resume Multiply-ing after the new year.. so take care people...be good.. early merry christmas and happy new year!!

P.S would not be cancelling my cell phone subscription so i'll still be contactable via phone till we set up our internet connection at our new place..

to a new beginning!!

for everyone

with the departure date drawing near, zw and i spent the weekend shopping for winter clothes.

temperature at Arizona should hit a low of 0 degrees when we touch down so we had to get comfy clothes but i think i placed fashion as a priority. Got a red leather jacket and a white down jacket :) which i think would look really nice with a pair of boots (which i've yet to get) and the pair of leather gloves that we bought too..

we've still got to get the thermal wear.. wool works well with the temperature there..

went shopping with mummy yesterday at Suntec and she got me a really cool black trenchcoat and a nice white wool cool cap :) cashmere socks and sweaters... oh.. and also a couple of items for her son-in-law as well... awww....

oh ya.. mum bought me a bolster which i chose from MiniToons... it would be coming with me to the US... the bolster has a bell on it which i used it to 'affectionately' wake lynn up with this morning..

we've got our apartment in the US too and i loooooove and adore the place...

a unit this big for the both of us.. i seriously can't complain...

zw says we could decorate the place for christmas!!! have some ideas on doing up the place.. (thank you chinnie!) if time permits, we'll get a real christmas tree in our home to go along with the fireplace in the living room...

it's a shame that it doesn't snow in Tucson otherwise i'll be close to my dream of a white christmas... (which zw just dampen my mood by telling me i'll most probably get a hailstorm instead of snow... :/ idiot... i should ban him from reading my blog entry while i type... oops... he's reading that too...)

the place that we're gonna be in looks comfortable and luxurious for us..

it's like a condo (with the security and facilities within the premise) but because it's a low level residence (4 storeys i think).. you can't exactly call that a condo... we're on the 2nd floor!!

i can't wait to see the place where we'll be for the next 2 years (or more)... it's as if we're starting up our own home... :) in a new country too!! :)

i'm picturing myself as a stay home wife.. sending my husband off at the door and welcoming him when he comes back from work... But alas, all these would not happen if i get admitted into the local University (which has yet to get back to me about my admission). my back up plan would be to take up keyboard again. =) which will be brought along to the US..

we've got 60 boxes (ranging from medium, big, huge and HUGE) waiting for us to fill them up with.. todate, none of it has been filled... (we're 9 days away before the logistics company take them away for shipping to the US *gasps)

that's the update for now and i can foresee more craziness in days to come.. but it's a good kind of excitement.. i don't mind..

next stop.. (pink!!) roller blades (lovingly sponsored by zw!!), Apple iTouch (sponsored with love once again from my one and only), home ware, kitchen ware, cooking appliance (we're mightily thankful for the refrigerator that comes with the ice maker, washer, dryer, microwave oven that comes with the place), bedsheets (has to be 400 threadcount for comfortable sleeping), furniture and home accessories... :) and (an auto transmission 2 litre) car for our road trips!!! =) we're a cool 6 hours drive from Las Vegas.. and a 10 hours bus ride from Los Angeles..

till then,

much love...
